Project Description

My Angel is a 54-unit (53 studios plus 1 two-bedroom manager’s unit) project providing permanent supportive housing for Veterans, chronically homeless individuals, and homeless individuals experiencing mental illness. Project also includes: three (3) case management offices, a conference room, exercise room, and staff lounge with a kitchen, toilet rooms, central laundry, and trash and recycle rooms. The building is designed in an M configuration orienting the common outdoor courtyard spaces as well as indoor recreational program uses. Primary circulation is via an open corridor walkway system that outlines the perimeter of the courtyards, combining both single loaded and double loaded unit entry access for residents.

A private donor gifted the property to LA Family Housing. The donation agreement includes a clause that specifically requests the property be developed for veteran affordable housing.
